Whew, I have got a lot to catch you up on! I've been so busy! I have got to keep you posted daily, I know! Bare wit ya girl :) For one I know some of you that follow me through google arent getting my updates since I changed my custom domain. Typically when that happens I just go back to publishing on blogger but this time, Im gonna ride it out and hope that it fixes itself, :(.

But onto funner things!!! I was asked to host the live feed for Fashion Uncorked that would play on Routetv.com! Um yeah! So this is what I wore! I found this vintage dress while thrifting and the camera pics pale in comparison to the Vintage Beauty in person! Maybe I'll try to get some closer pics later.

I have banned myself from buying another leopard, python, tiger, zebra, polka dot, or stripe!!! I feel like I have so much of it but the thing is I cant really help it. When I see it I'm drawn to it like its the first time I've seen it. Like this scarf for example, it has all of the elements Im obssesed with. Very unique to combine them all. I may actually go and get the other color they had with green and blues. For the price it's okay, right?

I am currently hunting down some pretty neon pieces though for Springs. And after looking at Karens review on the new Asos items for Spring and Summer, I am salavating!

My hubby attended the event with me. He kept me busy trying to teach me how to play a new game on his phone.

Tonight I will be hosting the live pre-show for Fashion Uncorked held at the Gwinett Environmental and Heritage Center!

This will be an amazing showcase, a project runway type competition to benefit the Easter Seals.

The Easter Seals is an organization to benefit children with disabilities.

Ever since seeing Tracey Ellis Ross on Vibe Vixen in her Vintage Police t-shirt, I've been cyber stalking it. I NEED it. Sting is such a major legend and made one of my favorite songs to sing to. "Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light. Rooooxxxannneee!"

Ok so some of you youngins may not know what I'm talking about, lol. But I wanted to share a song with you that was recycled by a very smooth R&B artist, Carl Thomas.

I was super excited to learn that Smashbox was coming out with a BB Cream in four different shades. The first glimpse of BB Cream I had was Boscias BB Cream which only came in one shade, and that shade was way to light for any ethnic skin. It was something I definitely wanted to try though because it is the one product that does it all. It protects, controls oil ( a big thing for me), primes, and hydrates.

I first learned of it being sold exclusively on QVC, but it is definitely on sale at Sephora right now. It comes in Fair, Light, Medium, and Dark. Retail Price $39.00.

Another one of my favorite Cosmetic lines is NARS. When I first heard months ago from a NARS rep at Sephora that they were going to have Tinted Moisturizers I was ready to buy ASAP. Now I haven't gotten my hands on one yet because I am still using my tinted moisturizer from Smashbox but this is a very near future buy. Now what I did not know is that is will have ingredients to reverse hyperpigementation and brighten skin. I have pretty much started to use tinted moisturizer as my daily look and go sans foundation. So with this Vitamin C in the product, it may be the perfect answer for all I need!!!

Last...we all need concealers. Well I know that some of my best days are a little concealer, lipgloss, and mascara. NARS has a great range of concealers and the consistency is great for excellant coverage. It comes from the lightest Ivory (Chantilly) to the deepest golden (Cacao).

Buy NARS concealer here at $22. I will definitely be making these apart of my makeup kit!

Ever since I found this vintage baby, I haven't carried another purse. When I first spotted it, I bought it because it was cute and because it reminded me of 80s Versace.

Upon a closer look it seems like I have a gem on my hands for real. Looking at the markings on the decor and the wild haired lion look at the two bottom details, has me curious. There are no Versace tags or labels inside the purse.

So, I've been comparing them to a couple of pictures until I can find somewhere to tell me yay or nay.

I don't really care, I got the purse because I thought it was unique, so I'm gonna rock it regardless!

Beside they weren't really making knock off purses back in the day were they?

Such a rainy and dreary day! But I decided to get out anyway and make a couple of stops. Last stop was Goodwill and I can't wait to share with you some of my buys!!! I decided I was definitely gonna do flats but thought I spruce it up a bit to make my mood beat the weather.

I kinda like this updo, a result of a definite need to wash my hair. I love coming up with styles to disguise my laziness. And this Spring I can't wait to buy tons of pastels and colorful hair turbans and scarfs.

I've owned this book for at least 8 months, but this is the first time I've sat down to really read it! It's very informative, entertaining, and full of inspiration.

I love the illustrations. It has A-Z from A line dresses to Zippered hoodies.

Had a little time to work on my inspiration board too. I have got to find some tights like this, and that nail design is definitely in my NEAR future...

Etta James was definitely a huge influence on the music world. She died from complications from leukemia today right before she tunred 74. She is a legend and I will always love and listen to her music. At my vintage 20s wedding back in May I definitely played some of her music!

This is hands down the best magazine cover I have seen since...well I don't know since when, but this makes me mouth drop open!

She is rocking the Dolce and Gabanna for L'Officiel Magazine. I love the floral top/jacket and shorts! The makeup is pure perfection. Especially with the light pink lip. It screams Spring 2012! Re-inventing the floral into totally adult silhouettes.

This pale yellow pants suit belongs in my closet like now! I have definitely got to invest in a patel monochrome suit for Spring. And the headpiece, rocking. Her feature in Hong Kong's "West East Magazine" is head spinning.

I've worn this necklace three times this week! I am absolutely obsessed with it. It may not look good with everything but I don't care.

I love the clear buttons on this blouse. And the frills on the end of the sleeve.

I tend to get bored and want to do something drastic to myself. I won't shave my head, mainly because I can't get away with it at my full time job, and secondly cause I'm a punk. I can't see myself growing it back out and being uneven forever! So I decided to do the next best thing.....dye! Now I love my blond patch and it will forever be my signature, but I thought it would be cool to add some red on the tips. When I get my roots dyed I will have more blond and red tips! I'm secretly hoping when the red starts to fade (and before I re-rinse it) that it'll fade into a pretty pink.

These rings were bought at the same place, Yanni's Treasures, where I bought my talon ring, in this post. She has alot of jewelry items 5 for $10.00. These rings are actually separate rings but I bought three since it was such a good deal. I wanted to wear them all at once to kinda look like a warrior.

Nicole from Ooh I like it asks if there was an online site. I tried to call the mall and ask her but never could get in touch with her. I don't think she has though, but I wanna tell her she definitely needs to!

I have so got to stop doing so much thrifting. I'm running outta room for clothes!

Danielle of The Style and Beauty Doctor and Lexi of Curls, Coils, and Kinks had a great event for bloggers at TJ Maxx the other Friday!!

It was full of beautiful fashion bloggers, beauty bloggers, stylists, you name it!

Danielle showed us some great items from the Runway section. The bag she is holding is Chloe I believe...it was only $700 compared to over $1000 regular retail!

Some very nice colorful jeans! I love, love, love the mustard pair! I think they'd look awesome with cobalt blue.

Lexi showed us some awesome beauty products and makeup items. They had a boxset of 3 Giovanni products for only $12.99. That is a hell of a steal, they normally are $8 dollars a piece. I really wanted that Chi-tah flat iron. I have the dryer to match, so I would have had a perfect set.

Ren from Makeup by RenRen is so gorgeous in person!

Kerrie from VirtuousStyls was there! I love her outfit choice. Very colorful and inexpensive. My kinda of fit.

I can't recall who this lovely lady is ( I have to re read my email and go follow every single one of them) but her hair was GORGE! I live!

We all had a style challenge where we had to create a look that was Hot and Chic for a little money as possible. Typically that is always how my shopping trips are, but the catch was we only had 12 minutes! Whew. I didn't get a picture of what I put together but I found some snakeskin sling back pumps, a lace pencil skirt, and a nice tan sleeveless flowy tank. I think it totaled to $65.00.

The great thing about it is we all go $25.00 gift cards to use in the store!! And I got an extra one for answering one of the trivia questions correctly! $50.00 score. I'll take it!

As usual about 50% of my outfit is thrifted. What can I say. I have a ton of things in my closet that I haven't even rocked yet that need to make an appearance soon!

I actually picked this up while out in Greensboro, NC with my mom during the holidays. The Value Village near her house had some great finds!!!

At first I couldnt figure out exactly what this was because it's very weird on the hanger. But.....after putting this on it was a no brainer. And it was half off. Ahhh......

Is it a crime to wear these shoes everyday! Okay, I must admit that the authentic Litas are very comfortable. Moreso than my Go Jane ones! But don't get it twisted, I will still rock both. I'll even go as far as to say that I could literally wear these all day with no complaints.

I had on another skirt at first. Kinda like a tan sweater pencil skirt. But I'm glad I ended up having to change because I love the pop of this pink.

I've been inspired by a couple girls in my blogger circle to do a tutorial on how to change vintage clip on earrings to pierced earrings. So....look out for that soon!

Time to showcase The Art of Jade!

One of my repeat clients graduated from her grad program and had an awesome party!!!!!

She was going for an old hollywood look so we went retro with her look! Her BB Dakota Sleeveless Red Dress and Platform pumps made her complete look BOSS!

Here are a few products that you can use to complete this look!!!!

1. NARS Velvet Matte lipstick pencil in Dragon Girl, Sephora, $24

My go to lipstick for a couple years has been MAC Ruby Woo. I still love it but I'm ready to try a little something new since it's become a cult item. Nars matte lipstick pencil is a perfect alternative when I want a change, and it's a tad bit less drying to the lips!

2. Maybelline Gel Liner in Blackest Black, Drugstores, $7.99

This gel liner stands up to the priciest brands. It is my go to and I don't even use any other gel liner but this one.

3. Nars Sheer Matte Foundation, Sephora, $42

This Nars foundation comes in Sheer Glow or Sheer Matte. I choose the Sheer Matte normally because it helps to mattify and control oil! So for clients that have a long event or party, after it's set, it lasts hours!

4. Maybelline Define-A-Brow pencil, Drugstores, $6.99

A definite must buy! Identical almost to MACs spiked eyebrow pencil and it's almost half the price!!!

5. False Lashes, can be found at any beauty store

Of course falsies can be found at your local beauty supply, drugstores, sephora, ulta, etc. No glam look is complete without lash drama!

6. Covergirl Queen Collection Bronzer, Drugstores

This bronzer is hands down one of my favs! It is one of the darkest bronzers I've used and it contours even my deep complexion.

Although it's good and into Winter I still have days where I can get away with just wearing a sweater or blazer. Love it! For the photos I took the sweater off, but it helped me keep the chill out for the day. This sweater was thifted, it has a deep V in the front which I love! And the color is POW!

I found this necklace while out thrifting too! I was inspired to go out and find a bad ass huge vintage necklace after reading this post and this post from Nini! Her style is SICK! So....didn't quite find the theatrical necklace I was looking for but I found this little gem for about $8.00.

It's NYE!!! I can't believe 2012 is already knocking! This year has been a great ride. I've gotten married this year! I've met and networked with some awesome bloggers. Started a business plan. I can only hope that 2012 will be bigger and better.

This is an outfit I wore while home for Christmas. Very comfy and low key for some last minute shopping. Every time I leave the thrift store I have a new favorite item. So I must have 50 favorite items, :). But this one is favorite thrift item of this week.

Tonight is gonna be real low key for me! I have some clients up until 9pm and then hubby and I will probably go out to eat and have some QT tonight when the clock strikes. Hmmm think I'll get some Mango wine. Have you tried the Arbor Mist Mango Moscato, love!

After the Holiday

Hi! Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I'm still feeling like I am not recovered fully from the holidays and I'm scrambling for time. But I did get to go to North Carolina and I miss my family already.

So my grandma wraps gifts every Christmas Eve. Sometimes I go help out. I love her, she is such a phenomenal person, we have fun together!

We had dinner at my mom's and enjoyed each others company for a while before I left to go to my dad's. Have to see the whole family after not going home for months so it gets real hectic sometimes, lol!

I wore my sequin top from H&M and some sky high platforms (which explains why I am towering over my family in the above pic, lol).

Still wasn't taller than my sister (not pictured) who is 6'2" flat footed.

What yall know about the Jungle Juice, and it's still only like .55 cents. This is my juice!

My "little" brother Myles who will be 16 soon and is now towering over me.

Did a little Christmas shopping for myself. I found my talon ring! I always have to stop by Yanni's Treasures at Four Seasons. She has some amazing things that I always see and want to buy online, but her prices are great. My talon ring was $15.00!

My grandma has gone natural and done her big chop!!! Her hair stylist sent her a card "Girl gone natural", how friggin cute is that!!!

Dear Torn,

I definitely don't believe in playing it safe when it comes to fashion and style! However the most important thing in fashion is to be comfortable with what you are wearing. You can definitely wear a flashy shoe, but it doesn't have to have sparkles or compete with your dress! Since your dress is flashy you can also wear a solid pump as long as the solid pump is sky high you'll be on point! Whatever you do make sure you have fun with it! How about these options?

What I did with my Sunday. Laid back, watched Netflix and TV, ate brownies, had chiptole for lunch/dinner. Read magazines and changed up my nails.

Start out with Metro Chic on the bottom part of your nails...

Take a colorful polish and swipe across the tops of each fingernail

You want to make sure to let your nails dry before placing the black line between the colors!

So I caught up on some magazines I haven't been able to read in about a month, :(

I can't believe how much Elizabeth Olsen looks to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They may as well be triplets. Loved the article on her in Nylon.

Make sure you add a top coat so your nails last longer! And then let dry!

It really is almost Christmas time! And we have still been having some days where it is 70 degrees here in Atlanta. But I'm not complaining, I love it! I'm not a big fan of extreme cold or extreme heat. So 50-75 degrees to me is perfect weather. Cool enough for fall dressing but nice enough to not wear huge coats and scarfs.

Did a tad bit of shopping today, had to visit Bakers 30% off sale. They are having BOGO 1/2 off and free shipping so make sure to check out that sale! I haven't been able to take advatage of that sale yet. Whenever they have it, I'm not able to buy...I think it's a conspiracy.

I'm so glad that my hair is growing out the blonde I used to have on the left side of my head. It looked kinda weird when I dyed it black but the blonde kept peeking through.

I don't think I've ever worn this sweater without red lips! It just speaks to me I guess. This necklace has got to speak volumes about my personality. Hmmm, my nickname should be lipstick. But I don't wanna be confused with a lipstick lesbian so I guess not

This purse so reminded me of 80s versace so I had to get it! Goodwill buy, $5. Whoot, whoot!!!

Looks like a real vintage gem.

Lucked up on the boots, comfy, bad ass! They were $30 on clearance at Urban Outfitters and I copped them while they were having a "take an extra 50% off clearance" sale.

I had a chance to attend Arkeedah from It's Arkeedah Blog Anniversary party last week. It was held at Polished and Primped boutique downtown. I have never been inside that boutique before and I've been missing out! They had some awesome clothing and accessory options and the nail bar is fab!

It's Arkeedah! She looked so cute in her bowtie! Love the hot pink and the sparkle.

Loved this vintage looking hat! I'd have to do some serious tucking with my hair to fit it tho, ;0!

Arkeedah from It's Arkeedah had her blog anniversary party ( more pics on that later). I decided to wear my vintage short sleeved sequin jacket because it doesn't get much wear. I've fallen in love with it again and this look couldn't be more complete.

I wanted to add a more vintage looking feel to the photos to match the outfit. Taking photos in my apartment is hard because of the lighting but I think I'm getting a little better with my camera settings.

I already decided that when I woke up this morning I would have a nothing day at work. Do you ever have those days?

I love the way this blouse lays! This blouse is a classic piece that won't ever go out of style, and the $22 price tag wasn't bad either. I always want to wear my signature Ruby Woo lip when I have on this blouse.

So I've recently come to a conclusion that I don't need 21 pairs of jeans in my closet. I used to think logically I need a pair of jeans that serve a specific function in each wash, or I know I haven't worn these in a year but I will want to wear them. I am going to finally purge my jeans, besides I am not able to wear jeans to either one of my jobs. And when I do dress for my personal time I may put on jeans, I don't know, 3 to 4 times a month. And then it's the same (my favorite) pairs over and over. So enough already Jazz, right? I'm excited about the extra room I'll have in my closet. (Closet post later)...

Bright colors make an otherwise dreary take a little better...

I may be a lame but when I played around with these photos in photoshop I changed the pants from orange to green to purple, pink, blue and all the colors were amazing! Dont I have enough pants? Damnit Asos.

Lose Myself

Here is a thinner me! I have gone up and down 15/20 pounds on and off for about 2 years now. I believe in this picture I was a size 10. After working really hard to stay fitting in that wedding dress, something in me clicked and the after wedding weight came on. Marriage is a major life change and takes adjusting. Good thing it's only been 7 months and I caught myself, cause both me and my husband have got some love weight to lose! Good thing I only have 14 pounds to loose before I fit back comfortably in these jeans.

This time I have to concentrate on doing what I know is the right way to live to keep it off. Remember it is a lifestyle change!

Now I'm just fine with fitting into my size 10 jeans. I have no desire to be a size 4. I believe that you can be healthy and not be thin. I was working out 4 times a week, able to run stadium stairs without wanting to pass out, and eating a good diet and I was no smaller than a 10, but toned. I commend people who have the willpower to loose lots of weight and I am definitely not knocking anyone who desires to be a size 0/2/4, I just know that is not for me. Hell look how I look at size 10, I know that I'd look hella crazy if I were a 0!

Now Jennifer is slim! She did it! I'm happy for her because that is what she wants and she looks great! I especially love the printed top and skirt!

Raven Symone has lost what seems like 60 pouinds or more.

She is definitely posing a little sexier in her new body after reportedly losing 35 pounds.

Jordin Sparks has gone from a size 14 to an 8.

They look great, but more importantly I'm sure they FEEL great! I just can't wait to get back into my skinny pants!

I had a very eventful weekend! We got a new touch screen computer and got hubby a playstation for his Xmas gift! So we've both been like droids, drooling, and loosing sleep over our new toys!

I did manage to get dressed and go to work though. I also managed to try and pick out my fro into this big mass of kinky hair and I'm in love with my hair all over again!

Sometimes when I wear weave for an extended period of time, I get nervous about returning to my natural haired state. I guess it's because the weave/braids are low maintenance and such a different look. But then you have to go back to deep conditioning and detangling. You go back to styling and lawd knows natural hair takes time!!!

But when it's all said and done and I'm back to me, it's always a win win situation!

You have definitely got to have patience and love your hair because if you don't it won't flourish. Just like with anything, it takes work!

I love my new froggy ring from Payless for $6.00! She makes my hands look so decorative.

Well I have had my loafers for two months maybe but never quite got around to telling you about them! Of course I was eyeing the steve madden's retailing at over $100. Then I spotted them on GoJane and UrbanOg but not in my size, :(. Damn, that $22 price on GoJane was right up my alley. So, slowly I forget about owning my leopard print loafers when lo and behold I walk into Dots one day looking for something else and came across these. They are the same exact Bamboo brand sold on GoJane and I ~~skipped~~ walked outta there with these after paying $12.00!!!!! Ha!

Wore them to work (which is daring at my FT ~~hell-hole~~ job) and my boss says "They look like slippers, like house shoes." Well that kinda is the concept, but it's hard to explain fashion concepts to people who don't have fashion concepts dancing around in their brains. So yeah I kinda do have on slippers, and they are haute!

Beautiful Textures Review

I've finally gotten around to testing out my Beautiful Textures products!

If you remember from this post here, there were beautiful natural haired fashionistas in attendance for the introduction of these products!

My results I loved! My hair was very soft and manageable after using the Deep Conditioner. I have been using in my hair as a daily leave in as well though, because my hair just gets so dry!!! Ughh! I think it's because my hair wants some coconut oil. For some reason when I seal with coconut oil my hair loves it.

Anywho here is a video of the results I got from the product ladies!!!

This dress was thrifted from B&R thrift store. The same theme I've been obsessed with long open dusters. I turn dresses into dusters by leaving them unbuttoned. I try to have a wardrobe full of multi functional things. Of course I'll turn around and wear it as a dress (like it's intended) or maybe even a top one day.

After the photos I realized that a hole snuck its way into my dress. Welp, guess I'll have to fix that with my handy new Sewing Machine. Haaa...I just reminded myself of the price is right. Jazzzzminnneeee come on down, the prize today is a handy new sewing machine. (Although I'd rather have the new car they always showcase). Am I a dork, yeah sometimes...so, :) Am I off on a tangent, yup.

Okay so my ~~photographer~~ husband could have told me that I had hair sticking up in every photo. I guess he was just not really concerned that I had a cowlick.

I cut the hell outta this sweater. I was attempting to do a DIY of a sweater that I saw here. I love the look. The thrift store is full of them of course. I have a great idea for how to correct my hacking. But I need to learn to sew (which I plan on teaching myself).

This is my first time in years wearing these red shoes, but they peeked out of my shoe ~~pile~~ wall and I said why not. It wasn't long before I remembered why...these things are not comfortable! I paid less than $10.00 for them a while back (2 yrs maybe) during a holiday sale at Charlotte Russe, so no biggie. These may go to someone's elses home.

I cannot ever complain about the fit of Asos pants. I've got a perfect fit every single time I order.

I wanna carry this clutch everyday and I could, but I try to switch it up every once in a while so I don't look too obsessive.

Sweater Dress

I started hunting for the perfect slouchy knit sweater dress back in August. I knew that come Fall/Winter I would want a couple because they are so easy to wear and make chic, cute, comfortable whatever you want it to be. Of course I found the perfect one at H&M. The elbow patches gave it an extra umph.

I originally bought this sweater in Cream with brown elbow patches. If you stalk H&M like me then you know that they had a lot of their knits for buy one get one free a couple weeks ago. Being that I had just bought the cream sweater not even 14 days before the sale, I took my cream sweater back to exchange it and came home with my cream one and a grey one! Free sweater, yes please!

My spiked earrings are from Asos. They give the illusion of having large earholes, you know the stretched ear look, without having to stretch your holes.

I love, love, love this bracelet I got from Jamaica! It's very heavy and will go with pretty much anything I want it to, all seasons.

Our last day in Jamaica was very relaxing. It rained a lot but it didn't keep us from stuffing our faces with food and drink! We did a little bit of snorkling and kayaking. I had a near death experience with a jellyfish. Saw one while snorkling and got the hell outta dodge. Confused my husband because I was waiting at the shore 2 minutes before he got there, lol.

This Dany shoe is probably the best goes with everything shoe I own. I wore them to a nightclub in Jamaica and was able to dance and still look cute. I think I need another pair in brown soon...

Our last night at dinner we ate Italian. The food was good but the dessert was better.

This was some of most delish cheesecake ever! Really it was the little crust shell it came in that was sinful.

It pour heavy rain for about 2 hours, but made for the perfect nap. You know how tired you are after you get out of the ocean, especially after strenuous swimming trying to get away from a jellyfish. So with my belly full, and a nice little strawberry daiquiri buzz, I woke up to this beautiful rainbow. It was so distinct and peaceful.

I thought I'd share a video by one of my favorite artist today. Jill Scott ALWAYS does it for me. Her newest CD is no exception. I love these two songs. The message in "Hear my call" is so powerful to me. I know that this is a fashion/style/beauty blog, but sometimes I wanna share other pieces of me, ;).

I fall short, I'm human. I cry. I yearn. I laugh and smile. I'm mean. I'm emotional. I'm not busy enough. I'm too busy. And lately I've realized I've become too "busy" for God. Now where Jill is talking about love and hurt and pain she is reaching out to God to hear her call for healing. That's why this song speaks to me because I need to remember when I am down and I call on God's name it shouldn't be the only time. I've reached the place where I had a close relationship with God and he was becoming my best friend but I've lost that. But you can always get it back. This song is inspirational to me in that way. And the video is emotionally beautiful itself.

Have you ever gotten into a fight over a pair of shoes?! Well, yeah me neither until the other day. I spotted these shoes at Dots and didn't get them immediately because I wanted to wait until Payday. Although these shoes were only $17.00 a girl's got a budget to keep, ya know. So on the day I did go back to get them they werent there. Then I heard a voice and turned around....the girl asks

"What size did you need in them" (she had two pairs down by her feet)

"I need a 9 (I have my fingers crossed)

"Oh, well your outta gas, I'm getting these"

Blank Stare

I took a brief moment and I flung her around by her hair and snatched my shoes, that I arrived 10 minutes late to catch, and held them in the air victoriously while the Rocky Theme song played in my head.

Okay, so that didn't really happen, but I did end up getting my shoes because I went to another Dots.

I'm permanently moving into B&R thrift store. I really cannot fathom not visiting there at least once a week (on Thursday everything is half off) and the result, nice pants for less than $2.00.

If you are in Atlanta and have not checked out Closet Candy Boutique run by Stylist Honey Pearl, you are missing some hott accessories. The thing I love about this necklace is that it looks expensive but is easy to wear because it's not as heavy as it looks. It jazzs up ANYTHING!!!!

And I stalked around for a hat like this and finally decided on Target, as they had the best deal at $19.99. H&M had a similar hat but for $14.95 but not as big. Find similar styles that I'm contemplating here and here. I really want a black one to wear with my rocker tees, ripped jeans (yes I still like them), and booties!

After we finally got our luggage, smh, I got dressed in this flowy number to try and beat the Jamaican heat. It did work for a while, but then I had to tie all this weave back. Can you tell I'm sweaty in the picture??? Lol!

I thought this would be a nice picture of the locals. She looked so peaceful. I did have to pay her two dollars though. I asked could I take her photo and her response was "Wha chu gon gi mi." Ha!!!

I just noticed this guy is posing for the picture, oh my gosh! I bought some bracelets from the ladies with shops around here. They weren't cheap like I thought I'd find...but two funky, good quality (and heavy) bracelets for $35.00 I guess I won't complain too much! After all how could I go to Jamaica and not come back with something hot! "Ooooo where'd you get your bracelet" ...."Oh I got them in Jamaica, ;)!"

We saw a ton of kids walking home from school in their uniforms...

I murdered this casserole!!!

That night we had dinner at the Jamaican restaurant at the resort!

I love my new cuff from Jamaica. I came home with two. This one and a turqouise one.

These boots were a crazy steal! I bought them for a whopping $26.00! They were on sale and I got a coupon for an extra 15% off. I am the luckiest when it comes to finding sale items.
